The first outlet is dedicated to providing purified drinking water, optimized for taste and odor reduction through an inline carbon filter that connects directly to the RO faucet. The second outlet is tailored for producing deionized (DI) water, which is essential for aquarium maintenance, laboratory testing, and other applications demanding ultra-pure water.

This comprehensive 5- to 6-stage filtration system includes the following components:

1. Sediment filter (5 microns) - Removes larger particles and debris.
2. Carbon block filter (5 microns) - Reduces chlorine, taste, and odor.
3. Granular activated carbon (GAC) water filter - Further enhances water purity.
4. Reverse osmosis (RO) membrane (50 GPD) - Removes up to 99% of dissolved solids, contaminants, and impurities.
5. Deionization (DI) water filter or inline carbon filter - Produces ultra-pure water for specialized applications.

The system also includes an RO storage tank with a capacity of 3.2 gallons (2.8 gallons usable), an auto-shutoff valve, a check valve, color-coded tubing, a water adapter, a drain saddle valve, and a housing wrench. The first housing is clear, allowing you to easily monitor when the sediment filter needs to be changed.

The instructions for this Dual Outlet Reverse Osmosis system are similar to those for a standard Reverse Osmosis system. The key difference is the presence of two outlets, one for DI water (via the DI filter) and one for drinking water (via the inline carbon filter).

Some units may come with a manual flush valve. If your system has this feature, it is recommended to keep the valve open during the initial start-up phase. Once the system is fully flushed, the ball valve can be closed.
